Joe Kaniaupio’s Road to Recovery
Donation protected
Aloha friends and family, for those of you who know my Dad Joe personally know how big hearted, loving, and selfless he is.
As a devoted Husband, Father of five girls and hardworking business man he has many responsibilities in his life.
On Wednesday March 26, 2025 he was working and accidentally fell 8 ft onto concrete causing severe injury to both of his legs. Unfortunately this has put a major hardship on my Ohana since he is financially one of the sole providers.
Just a few months ago my mom’s job suffered from a fire in January that burned down her entire office, leaving the main location temporarily closed.
Fortunately it allowed her to work from home so she is able to care for her Mom on Oahu who has been battling cancer, but having to deal with that and now my Dads situation we are in a challenging circumstance.
My Dad has multiple surgeries he needs to undergo and a long road to recovery ahead. However, due to unfortunate circumstances he has no medical insurance so everything has to come out of our pockets. Therefore, any donations will help cover all medical costs.
We know everyone has their struggles, especially financially during hard times but from the bottom of our hearts we kindly ask for any support.
Mahalo Ke Akua for watching over my Dad, he may have major injuries but he is still alive and breathing, still laughing and smiling, so we couldn’t be more grateful!
Knowing my Ohana we will get through this. God has a plan and a path for us that we have been walking through every single day. Nothing will keep us down, we will always push through any and every obstacle. So for all the love, support and prayers, we mahalo all of you!
Love Joe & Kela Kaniaupio & their girls.
