Joe Ingberg's Road to Recovery
Donation protected
On Monday, July 2, our friend and colleague Joe Ingberg (39) went into cardiac arrest.
Emergency CPR was performed and resulted in Joe’s sternum and some ribs being broken. This injury typically carries a 6-12 month recovery. Upon arriving at Mercy hospital, Joe was sedated and put on a ventilator. An MRI on his heart was taken so the medical team could assess their next steps and a defibrillator is recommended. Joe had his ventilation tube out on the 5th and is starting to make progress towards recovery.
As of Wednesday, July 11, Joe returned home with his loving family, including his wife and 3 young boys.
Joe has a lengthy road ahead of him, in terms of therapy, rehabilitation, extended care and getting back to his daily life. He will have many things to deal with in the coming days and months and we are hoping with your help and support that financial worry will not be one of those things.
Recovering from something like this is difficult, but with our continued thoughts and prayers, Joe and his family will be able to use it as positive energy towards his road to recovery. Thank you for considering to donate to Joe's recovery. Every donation is appreciated; in every amount. Please share this link and encourage others to consider a donation as well.
