Joe Garcia's Funeral
Donation protected
To know Joe Garcia was to love him. His compassion for others was in inspiration to everyone around him. As a Father, Husband, Brother, Son, Friend or Coworker he was passionate, supportive and genuine about the things and people he loved. The oldest of 6 children, Joe's father died when he was a teenager and he helped his mother Maria raise brothers John, Adrian and Danny and his sisters Maricela and Marvie. Afer serving in the Navy he was proud to serve as a police officer for the Village of Mount Prospect for 18 years. He later worked selling cars for Auto Nation and The Bob Rohrman Auto group and finally as a motorcycle salesman for his beloved Harley Davidson. His incredible sense of fun and humor and the sincerity in his heart for each project he pursued encouraged the people he knew to grab life by the horns and create a future for themselves. Joe was a man who loved God and was a dedicated and incredibly loving family man; his sons Sam Garcia, Will Lucnik, his daughter Emily Lucnik and niece Maggie Reilly were his "home base" and the blended family he proudly shared with beloved wife Mary Lucnik-Garcia. A humble yet bigger than life personality, he held the ones he loved in the palm of his hand and did everything he could to protect, serve, and encourage them.
Donations will be used for funding his funeral services and supporting his family during this time.
