The Helping Hands of Joe an Dottie Fulmer

Joe and Dottie Fulmer

There are people in this world that the world needs more of. Two of those folks are Joe and Dottie Fulmer.  I would guess that most who attend the music at the farm have seen Joe and Dottie smiling away in the crowd without knowing who they were. If you’ve ever been to The Frog Pond, then you’re seen Joe’s beautiful photographs of Luther Wamble and the Half Moon Guitar, along with photographs of the hands of some incredible blues guitar players from all around the country.   Most are unaware of the foundation of love and support of others that both of these wonderful folks live by. They have,  since I’ve known them, given without telling anyone or expecting anything back other than the good of helping someone else through a tough time. They never once thought they’d find themselves in the same boat as those they’ve helped, and they have never once thought about asking for an extra oar to help them get to shore.

Joe Fulmer has been diagnosed with stage IV Cancer. Joe and Dottie live on a fixed income and medical bills have been mounting up with little left to fight this new battle, or to get Joe where he needs to be for treatment. Our hope here is to raise enough money to help these fine folks with materials to repair their roof, co-pays for Joe,  and also help cover the cost to make the trip back to their home state of Ohio. Once there, they can be close to their children, and Joe will be able to be treated at The Cleveland Clinic, which is Ranked #5 in the Nation, for Cancer Treatment.  Hope is the foundation for healing. Let's try to help give them the hope that they've given so many others.
