Joe F. and Hazel S. Rebuilding After Devastating House Fire
Donation protected
Joseph Figueroa and Hazel Sieler, my uncle-in-law and aunt, have had their entire life reduced to ashes on 4/19/2025, starting about 9:50 pm, in a fire that devastated their house and risked the lives of my three little brothers, my parents' dogs, and my parents' house mere feet away from the fire. Heroically, Joe separated several propane tanks from the area, directly saving the lives of my family from collateral damage while he watched his every possession be reduced to ashes. Joe and Hazel have been more than family and greater than friends to my family since forever, and the debts we now owe them for saving my brothers and family are immeasurable.
Prior to this fire, when Joe wasn’t working overtime far past his retirement age, he could be seen working on the fifth-wheel trailer far past sundown, day in and day out, while his adoring wife supported him with her own full-time job. They had moved here to rebuild their lives together after countless attempts over the years and were only planning to stay in that trailer next to my parents' house until they could save up enough money to establish permanent housing. Please find it in your hearts to help these two loved and cherished, long-lived, and hard-working souls rebuild their lives once again, once and for all.
