update! Hi this is Joe! We are still waiting for SS disability to kick in. I can’t believe all that has happen, I am doing ok but still having difficulty seeing and walking. Not working anymore, we try so hard to make ends meet. I am hoping the disability kicks in soon. Until then, if anyone still wants to donate, it would be so appreciated!

update! Happy New Year! Joe is still struggling with his walking and having trouble seeing with his eyes. We have upcoming doctor appt and interview for his disability. We are trying our best to get by. This go fund me has helped so much until his disability kicks in. I am his full time caretaker and we try our best on my social security check to make ends meet. Once is disability check hits we will be ok. Our lives in 2023 changed forever.

12/18/23! Joe’s disability hasn’t kicked in yet.. We are struggling financially and hoping it will soon. The donations have helped so much and we are hoping our friends and family who haven’t helped yet will pitch in to help Joe. You know who Joe is! A wonderful man who would help anyone. Update! We are struggling financially. With waiting for disability to kick in, we are barely getting by. The money we received in the past helped us so much. So this thanksgiving season if anyone can help us out, we would be so grateful and thankful. Happy Thanksgiving.

update today on 11/5/23. Joe had an interview with Social Security to apply for disability. SS Disability takes months to kick in. He also was terminated from his job so we need to go on Cobra which is so expensive. We are trying so hard to make payments. All this help from friends and family is a blessing so a big thank you.

New update! Hi all! It is over two months since Joe has had his stroke! Joe is doing ok but still struggling with his memory and balance. He can no longer work. His memory is not how it use to be and he can no longer drive. I am his full time caretaker. I love him but it is hard days to try and make ends meet! We were blessed to have so many contributions from family and friends. If anyone still wants to donate to my wonderful Joe, it would mean so much to him. Thank you all.

Update on Joe! Joe is still having problems with memory, seeing and walking. He has good days and bad days. He is getting stronger but unable to work. But with the help from our family and friends these donations help us not struggle. The donations have helped us run our household. We are so grateful to all who have helped us. Hi My name is Diane Lagravinese. My fiancé Joe Dator always helps his friends. Now we need your help. On August 21, 2023, Joe had a mini stoke while working at his job at the Acme Supermarket. Joe felt very disoriented and his head began to pound. Over the next few days, he couldn’t remember things. He ended up at Putnam Hospital Center where they ran a series of tests. The mini stroke he experienced altered his memory. Joe now needs treatment for cognitive and physical therapy. Joe can no longer work or drive or walk without a walker. Joe has helped so many people in his lifetime including me. It gives him purpose to help people. That is who Joe is. Anyone who can help Joe out at this time would be a savior. Thank you.
