Hi, my name is Nesla and I am writing on behalf of my father. A close family/friend Briana is helping me with writing this, considering I am only 15 years old and my sister is only 10 years old. A few months ago my father suddenly collapsed at work, but based off of medical tests it shows that my dad has severe trauma to his brain due to an aneurysm and has been hospitalized since this happened. My mom does not drive and travels each day, faithfully, so he is not alone and can at least feel her hands and hear whatever of her voice and songs that make their way to him. He does not have much ability and is bedridden until a miracle happens or at least has some improvement with his brain activity so we can go forth with rehabilitation and whatever is next. As most people know the hardship of unexpected medical expenses is never easy to deal with and rarely can be tackled alone. My family is from Albania, my mom has always been a stay at home, dedicated mother for my sister and I, so our only source of income was from my dad. We only have each other here and some friends, but everyone has their own lives. My mom isn’t someone who wanted to make one of these, but in hopes of my father having a proper recovery within the proper environment (hopefully being home soon) this was our only option. If you can please donate or share this post for my family it would mean so much. My mother went from being home with us daily to now being by my fathers side each day for 3 months now while we stay with friends of our family. This hasn’t been easy on any of us and seeing him in this condition has been heavy. Extremely heavy.
