Joe DiCanio

On December 20, 2023, my 33 year old brother, best friend and Man of Honor’s life was flipped upside down. Joe suffered a massive stroke affecting his entire left side caused by an unknown twisting and clotting of his right carotid artery. He has been hospitalized since and is slowly heading in a positive direction. Now Joe will need many months ahead in a rehabilitation hospital.

Joe is a larger than life personality and loved by all who meet him!! He loves his career being the Director of the Acting Department and working with all of the staff and students at Prestige Performing Arts in East Northport. Thankfully, he is alert, as sharp as ever, and speaking clearly. His great sense of humor and the goal of returning to his students as quickly as possible is the force driving him through this unbelievable life-changing event. Joe is one of the bravest humans on Earth right now and is facing many challenges ahead. All money raised will go toward prolonged hospital and rehabilitation bills along with many other expenses as he fights to gain his life back!! No donation is too small. Thank you!
