Joe Culver is a manager at our Stadium location in Tampa. In mid-March he was diagnosed with Stage 4 Metastatic Melanoma. This form of cancer causes tumors throughout the body to include the lymph nodes, lungs, liver, bones and brain.
He developed meningitis after a surgery and was hospitalized a second time. The treatments to follow have included radiation on the remaining tumors in his brain and a strict prescription drug regimen to treat all areas of his body.
Everything has been going well and the medical staff is impressed with his progress but Joe has been physically unable to work for over 3 months thus far.
He is now awaiting a change in medication and further tests to ensure progress continues so he can return to life as it was before this disease took over.
Joe would like to thank all his Applebee's family who have given emotional support during this time. Please give what you can to help him through this financially straining time.
