To all who know my dear friend Joe Cruz
Maybe you have played a tune with Joe, or been lucky enough to write a song with him! Perhaps he produced something for you or you just know him casually and only had a small taste of this mans talent, charm and cutting sense of humor. Well my friends, Joe is need of some help. He would be too proud to ask but I am not.
Joe, his Wife Tina and their two daughters age 12 and 9 have been living in Los Angeles for the past 2 years, things have been slowly gaining momentum and he has written dozens of songs with as many people. He has composed music for TV and also continued to play live ,and just as things were looking up he had a heart attack! On Thursday May 11th I received an urgent message from his wife, by the time I got to their home the paramedics had him on a stretcher and were taking him to emergency. He had a Heart attack and underwent emergency surgery to put a stent in his heart. After the procedure he had an allergic reaction to some medication and ended up in ICU on a ventilator for 2 days. He is now breathing on his own, still in Hospital but hopefully headed home any day.
Joe will not be able to work for sometime, and his medical bills as you can imagine will be enormous. I’m reaching out to ask for help financially for Joe and his family. Bills are going to add up quick and I’m hoping to alleviate and stresses on his family due to this unexpected turn of events.
All of the monies raised will go towards the family’s expenses over the next few months while Joe recovers. Im hoping we can blow past this 5K and help Joe out in a true time of need. Please Spread the word to anyone you think may know Joe. Thanking you all in advance for your generosity!
