Joe Cross - Yreka Fire Loss Fundraiser

To family and friends,

After retiring from the VA Hospital about a month ago, I moved to Yreka to a home I purchased on the Klamath River. I walked outside and looked up the mountain and fire was pouring over the top of the mountain like a waterfall and coming down fast. I only had time to grab my cat and my girlfriend and flee for our lives. We lost everything to a very fast moving fire with no warning that swept through our valley and onward in minutes. We lost neighbors, animals and everything on our property is gone. We are living in a motel for now and getting some help from Red Cross and FEMA and we are looking for an apartment in the area while we sort this mess out. Any help would be greatly appreciated as we start over with our lives and will help us purchase basic necessities that we need right now.
