Friends and family, my 29 year old little brother Joe Colt Leggett was involved in an accident on February 18, 2020.  Our family received a phone call at noon that he was brought to the hospital unresponsive and without a pulse. They do not know how long he went without oxygen. He was on life support for 7 days and in a coma for 11 days. He was taken off the ventilator on the 8th day to breathe on his own but has suffered from multiple injuries. Colt has Hypoxic Anoxic Brain Injury (Permanent damage), 4 broken vertebrae in his neck, and 3 broken ribs. He is unable to communicate and has lost use of his lower extremities. Colt did not carry insurance and will be discharged to my parent's home on March 6, 2020. Everything will be self-pay for future care. I am asking for anyone who can help, to donate to his rehabilitation. My parents are 65 & 73 years old and can not care for him on their own. My sister and I will be there to help but we do not live there to help 24 hours a day. I am asking for donations to help pay for a Caregiver and a Physical Therapist to come into their home on a daily basis. If you can help by a donation, we are extremely thankful.
