Hi, my name is Axel Jones.

I consider myself one of Joe’s closest friends, having known him for over 26 years. In that time, we shared countless memories that I’ll always treasure.

Tragically, on 23/04/2026 at around 5pm, while on his way home from work, Joe was involved in a motorcycle accident and sadly passed away at the scene.

Anyone who knew Joe will understand what a truly special person he was — funny, laid-back and incredibly kind, with a genuine heart of gold. That kind of person is rare, and he was loved by everyone around him.

He leaves behind the love of his life, P, who brought him to a place of happiness, as well as his brothers, sisters, and mother. He will be deeply missed by his whole family.

This GoFundMe has been set up to help raise funds for his funeral, so he can have the send-off he truly deserves, while also easing the financial burden on his family during this incredibly difficult time.

Every single penny raised will go directly towards his funeral. I will, of course, also be contributing personally.
