Joe is a son, brother, uncle and a loving father and grandfather To many of us he is a friend. A friend that is full of smiles, countless amounts of jokes and good humor. As most of you may know Joe was diagnosed with kidney cancer in April 2018 and a rare proliferation form of glomerular disease named Fibrillary Glomerulonephritis. To some hearing this news would have been a death sentence but not to Joe. Joe is a fighter! As you can imagine, since receiving this diagnosis of kidney disease and cancer Joes life has forever changed. He has undergone surgery to dissect this cancerous tumor and has endured an endless amount of hours receiving kidney dialysis. Some of the daily side effects from his treatments are migraines, nausea, vomiting and exhaustion to name a few. As a result of all of this Joe has been unable to work the long hours of physical labor that he needs to in order to provide for his family and himself. This coming August Joe will be 2 years cancer free. God willing he will become eligible to receive a much needed kidney transplant. Joe is not in the clear and will still have a extremely long road ahead.
We are asking today for your help in Joes long journey to recovery. Whether it be a monetary contribution, donation of blood or the selfless act of a kidney donation. All will help Joe kick this cancer for good.
