The Christol family unfortunately lost a great member, our brother, our parent’s second oldest, the rock of the family at the age of 35 just a couple of weeks after his birthday and we need your help for funeral service, cremation, and probate/legal expenses. Joe was and always will be the greatest person in all of our lives next to our father who also passed away recently, his life may have been taken but his memories will always live on in all of us who knew and loved, Joe.
He connected family and friends, he was the reason everyone would come around and get together. His home was what everyone considered “the spot” and a “safe-haven”. He welcomed everybody and always offered an ear to hear our daily issues and drama, a shoulder to lean on when we were going through hard times, his garage for family and friends to work on projects and fix up our cars and anything else he could afford to give because he was a very down to earth person. For those reasons everybody loved Joe, I mean absolutely LOVED Joe. His personality was one of a kind and his heart was massive.
Joe may have kept to himself as he got older but he never left anyone behind, he just started focusing on his work as he worked very hard, his future and mostly his family more and more.
Joe recently was beginning a new career in the Union with a great buddy of his, a long-time family friend. Unfortunately he never got the chance. As the days grew closer for Joe to start his new job he expressed nothing but excitement to everyone that knew about it. He was a little worried to start over as anyone would be, career changes are scary but at the same time was ready to prove himself and enjoy what was to come. The fact that he would be working alongside his close buddy and learning something new made the whole situation easier for him, he loved to learn. We all assured Joe he would be fine and he was pumped to get back at it after being out of work for a short while. It was just days before his start-date that somebody took his life.
His goal was to work as long as it took to save up enough money to move to Florida with his older brother and oldest nephew to start investing in flipping houses. His main career being a rough framer, “a jack of all trades, master of none” is what fueled his hunger to do so. He was AMAZING at what he did and took pride in his work, he knew without a doubt they would do very well flipping homes and have fun while doing it.
Witnessing the overwhelming support from friends, even those who haven’t seen or spoken to Joe in so many years is heart-warming. As your prayers go out to us, ours go out to you as well. The fact that one man was so popular and so loved just goes to show how great of a person Joe was. The support that he and the family received was so much more than any of us could’ve expected and for that we thank you! To those who took the time to assist the family and are still doing so, we appreciate you very much, words can’t describe how grateful we are.

A family who could use your help to give everyone a chance to see Joe one last time to pay respects, say goodbye and make peace. The exact expenses are unknown for Joe’s funeral service and cremation but we’re aware it’s near the 5 grand we’re asking for. If there are any extra proceeds left over afterwards we will use it to keep up with necessities. Even a single donation will mean the world to us, any and all help will be greatly appreciated.
This situation has left us torn and any amount of help would lift some weight from all of us. The last thing any of us care about is money but it’s our only means of giving Joe a proper send off.
