Bad timing for Stamford afc Joe burgess and family

We’re hoping to raise money to help support Joe Burgess and his family.

Joe has played for Stamford since 2017 making a massive 217 appearances and scoring 19 goals. Helped us win promotion and was crowds champion that year.

Joe was injured on the 4th of March whilst playing against Reditch United and scans have shown a ruptured ACL and is now awaiting an operation date, with a typical recovery rate of around 12 months.

Due to his injury Joe is unable to work as a self employed painter and decorator, with his and wife Hollys first baby due in 3 months time, the lack of money coming in is obviously adding stresses at an already stressful time.

So as a Stamford Supporter and a friend to both, if anyone feels they would like to donate to support them both after this unfortunate injury, I would be very grateful all donations will be put towards supporting Joe and his growing family, giving them the time that Joe needs to recover, lessening the stress and worry of his inability to work.
