Joe, Bonnie & Baby Sophia fund
Donation protected
Bonnie was brought by helicopter from their home in rural Alaska to the hospital when she went into labor at 20 weeks pregnant with twins. With the skillful care of the doctors at Providence Hospital her sweet baby girls were kept safe until she reached 22 weeks. She delivered Sophia Grace first, weighing 1 lb. Her sister Isabella Hope was born about 6 hours later, but had sadly already flown to the arms of Jesus. Sophia is, and will remain in the NICU for the next four months, until her due date. Bonnie will spend the next months caring for her, and staying at the Hickel House (attached to the hospital) in the evenings.
Their insurance will cover the bulk of their medical expenses, but we'd like to help with other expenses like airfare for Joe as he travels between the hospital and the lodge, as well as day to day expenses for Bonnie (and Sophia).
Would you consider giving to this family? No amount is too small.
Please keep this family in your prayers as they navigate this roller coaster. They were thankful for every moment they had with Isabella and for every day they get with Sophia.
