I am truly touched by everyone’s generosity. I know that Joe has left a vast hole in many hearts but as the days, months and years go on, please continue to share stories and pictures of him as those memories of love will continue to keep Joe here with us. Everyone knows what Joe was going through, but let’s not forget who Joe married… Rie is his rock, who held him down, and was his live in nurse who shuttled him to and from doctor appointments. She carried the load financially, emotionally and spiritually. Rie is one of the strongest woman who kept it all together so we could enjoy the time we had with Joe. She would never ask anything of anyone, so we are asking everyone to do what they can to support her so she can get through these tough times.

While the family has covered all funeral expenses, we are assuming there is still a stack of medical bills, a car payment, and a mortgage. Any contribution will be greatly appreciated.
