My cousins Joe and Amy Free are going through a difficult time right now and need some help. 2020 has been a difficult year for many of us but even more so for Joe and Amy. Joe lost his mom, Janice Lee, unexpectedly on November 11. On November 8, their youngest child and only daughter, Kaitlyn (Katie) had a terrible accident, was in a coma and on life support. On November 12, Joe and Amy had to make the most difficult and heartbreaking decision that no parent should ever have to make. They decided to take Katie off life support as the doctors said she was seizing and would more than likely never recover. Katie was only 25 years old and left behind three beautiful kids, Mason (5), Logan (3), and Kayleigh (1). She was kind and caring and loved her kids more than anything. As with many young people her age, Katie did not have insurance and so the burden of medical bills and funeral expenses now fall on the shoulders of Joe and Amy. No parent should ever have to bury their child. They suffered two devastating and unexpected losses within 24 hours. Joe and Amy are two of the nicest and caring people I know and never ask for help. Mason, Logan, and Kayleigh are also living with Joe and Amy. Please consider giving to this wonderful family in their time of grief and need. Joe, Amy and myself would be very appreciative and grateful for any help you could give.
