Joe Agate needs your help during Chemo

Hello everyone, my name is Alisha. I am Joe’s daughter.

Some of you may know Joe from his famous pizza, some grew up with him, others may just have met him throughout the years. Regardless, Joe is very well known for his humble personality, eagerness to help and abundant caring heart. He has worked over 30 years in the Pizza Business, feeding millions of people day after day with his specialty pizza and unique pies. He has put in long hours and endless efforts to run whatever business he was in.

About 2 month ago my dad was diagnosed with Small Cell Aggressive Lung Cancer & Emphysema. This caught everyone by surprise. My dad has worked hard since I could remember, raising two beautiful daughters, putting us through Catholic School, dance lessons, sports and so much more. He has given our mom a beautiful home & so much more. He is the best grandfather anyone could ever wish for. Unfortunately now he cannot work due to his tireless and emotional Chemo and Radiation Treatments. Chemo treatments are also causing numerous blood clots which is very dangerous for him.

I am starting this page to try and help raise some money for my dad. Transportation to and from the center plus medical bills and medications are starting to add up. We are all trying to help in whatever way possible.

Whatever you can donate would greatly be appreciated. Thank you from the bottom of my heart. My dad has worked so hard his entire life, it sucks he is sick …. So now it’s time for my dad to go through his treatment so he can beat this cancer and accept help from friends and family so he doesn’t have to worry about not financially supporting his family. He can now focus on him and his health. I don’t want the fact that he is unable to work and provide because he is sick to make him more stressed out than this process already has to be.

Update: 2/8 Unfortunately Joe was just diagnosed with Liver Cancer. This horrific lung tumor decided to take a stroll down to his liver. Biopsy confirms cancer. So another round of chemo is scheduled & we will continue to fight this Cancer together. Your help and support is still greatly needed.
