Joe 25m - severely disabled and in need of money

Hello, my name is Joe and I am starting this fundraiser because my current situation has become unlivable. Over the past two years, I have become increasingly ill with an extremely debilitating and incredibly rare (1 in 50k) condition known as hyperacusis, which is an extreme collapse in sound tolerance for everyday noise, like caused by spinal nerve failure in my case and an unknown neurological component (doctors are stumped by my case). I do not have a mild case, I am a severe case where my symptoms are constantly being In addition, I have steadily worsening multi tonal tinnitus, which is quite literally 80 decibel noises blaring in my head constantly, 24/7 for days, while I deal with severe neuralgia symptoms from being exposed to normal levels of noise, which due to my condition is intolerable for me.

Because my condition worsens so easily and has no treatment, remedy or cure at all, my only option to survive at this point is to be able to raise money for either soundproofing materials or a stepping stone to quiet housing where I am not being triggered by loud noise all the time {which invariably worsens me} so I can have a chance to let my symptoms mellow. I am quite genuinely being tortured 24/7 and I MUST have some way to improve my environment. Even just a little money would be hugely generous. The money will be transferred to my mom (Jeanne)'s account and then she will help me with funds.

My life has been completely devastated by this illness. I am stuck in my basement 95% of the time because everything to do with noise triggers horrible pain for me. The toll this has taken on my life, health, and the pain it is causing my family is absolutely unbearable and if I do not make a fundraiser now, I am at massive risk for suicide. My family is desperately trying to help me, but we are broke. I can no longer communicate with my loved ones without pain, I can no longer have any semblance of a normal life and have been homebound for almost a year now. I know it is a lot to ask but to reiterate ANY money will be much appreciated. I am desperate to survive and cannot lose my family and my friends, or devastate my loved ones with my death. The money will go to finding affordable housing and/or soundproofing materials, and I will try to donate as much as I can to organizations for tinnitus, hyperacusis, hearing loss and other hearing conditions. I am broke and cannot get a job at all because of the severity of this condition, so literally any money donated would be in act in helping me save my life. I would be forever grateful to whoever pitches in, even if it's just a small donation. I fear I have very little time left if I don't help this now. Thank you so much for your consideration.
