My sister Jody Massey, age 39, has been diagnosed with a rare and aggressive ovarian cancer. It was first found as a tumor the size of a basketball on her ovary when she went to the ER complaining of pain. She had surgery to have it removed and began chemo. When she went in for her check up they found the cancer had come back and had to go back into surgery, this time she would have a full hysterectomy and start a new round of chemo. Again she would go in for her check up only to recieve the news that it was back again and attaching to her vaginal wall and that although they would keep fighting it she would lose her life to this cancer. She was losing hope and fear set in as she is a single mother of a young 3 year old who has special needs himself. 

Then she was accepted into the Cancer Treatment Center of America of Illinois and they have given her hope that she may not be able to beat this cancer but they can control and contain it but it will be a very aggressive treatment.

Jody didn't have insurance when she first got her diagnosis and had her 1st surgery so medical cost accumulated and although she now has medical insurance there are expenses with getting treatment out of state that are not covered as well as household expenses. Please gift to help my sister be able to travel the several flights to Illinois and get the life saving treatments she so desperately needs and to make sure home expenses are covered to relieve worry.

Every little bit helps whether it be $5, $10, $15 or $20 dollars or more. It will all add up in the end.
