Please help to support Jody through this difficult time in her life. After years of living with Ulcerative Colitis, Jody decided on surgery. After rare complications from the first and most major operation (December 24, 2014), Jody was hospitalized twice, and has been fighting for her chance at a better life. Jody was unable to work (due to her hospitalization and having the need for time to heal). Any contributions are helpful, appreciated, and will be going towards medical bills, student loans, and her car payment.
Jody is a Kennedy High School and recent UNI alumni. She completed her student teaching for her Elementary Education degree, and graduated 4 days before her first operation.

This was a series of 3 surgeries.
The first surgery was December 24, 2014.
The second surgery was April 7, 2015.
The third and final surgery was scheduled for July 22, 2015, but was re-scheduled for October 1, 2015 due to necessary extended healing time.
