Jody was in a serious motorcycle accident last May. His left leg was so injured that the doctors at Joliet wanted to preform an immediate amputation. Luckily, Jody had a friend to help convince his transfer to Loyola hospital where the doctors, nurses and staff took excellent care of him, did several surgeries and Jody was on the long road to recovery. Jody was in a waiting period of healing and was still needing several more surgeries to stretch and fuse bone together, but 6 months later, Jody acquired a bacterial staph infection in the bone and is having surgery to remove his injured and infected left leg on Wednesday November 30th. He is extremely grateful for all the prayers and support and the effort and care that he has gotten at Loyola. Although Jody wishes his outcome were different, he
knows that he and the doctors did everything that they could to do. Jody has not been able to work since the accident last May, so this GoFundMe is to aid Jody in his personal and continued medical expenses. Please give whatever you are able and please continually pray for Jody as he will be learning to walk again and navigate his new life with a prosthetic.
This was a few years ago when Jody proudly visited our dad’s grave with his “baby” his Harley Davidson
This is from a memorable road trip Jody did called “Tail of the Dragon”
