Hello, my name is Jodie and I have to have an oral surgery due to a significantly disturbing medical condition. I have an autoimmune disease along with diabetes, which has caused quite a bit of bone deterioration and receding gums. I am not a candidate for implants because of the soft tissue and bone loss.

Unfortunately, my insurance will not pay for the procedure, and I must pay out of pocket, which has to be paid in full before I can schedule the procedure. This is affecting other issues in my health care as well. I have an infection in my mouth which could cause other issues in my body. I have a wisdom tooth that is embedded within the jawbone, coming in completely sideways, and putting pressure on the sinus cavity. I have been suffering with severe headaches and intense mouth pain. All the teeth have to be removed in order to prevent further complications such as coronary artery disease and possible heart disease, if left untreated.

I am a single woman, living on disability and do not have substantial items worth selling. I am not eligible for a loan due to low credit and also limited income to not be able to pay back. I was denied for care credit. I am stepping out of my comfort zone and asking for a bit of help. I love life and live each day to the fullest. I love to smile and just could not imagine losing it.
