Jodie’s Journal farm fundraiser

Hi everyone, this is something that has been suggested by my followers to enable people to donate. For any of you who don’t know me I am Jodie, 28 years old and I run a small farm in The Lake District.

This fundraiser will be used towards building my passion, to keep our small farm going, giving the animals the best lives possible and to improve the facilities.

This will enable people to visit, and for me to carry on sharing my life online with my animals in the Lake District, with people around the world on my Facebook group Jodie’s Journal, & my new YouTube channel, for people who cannot visit in person, and would like to follow our lives.

I am a young farmer who has built up my flock of sheep and herd of cows gradually since the age of 18, I initially had support from the Prince’s trust to get started, my grandparents were farmers, this place has always been my passion in life. It is a struggle for a small farm to be viable, I feel this diversification can safeguard the future of our farm and our animals, and I can keep sharing with all.

It has taken a long time for me to gain the confidence to share my world with others, but in the space of 2 weeks I have seen a positive impact, that it has had on people from all walks of life. From people who have never been near farm animals, children, animal lovers, the elderly and disadvantaged.

I would love to be able to improve facilities, so it can be accessible for all. As a place of peace, quiet, enjoyment and education for everyone.
