More information about RBWH Foundation: The core means by which funding of mission has been achieved is via relationship fundraising, bequests, fundraising events, appeals, commercial, grant and investment activities. These activities led to .68mil being distributed back to the Royal Brisbane and Women's hospital for 2016 in the form of Research Grants and Donations. Research grants and donations were provided to key areas of research in the hospital including Burns, Trauma & Critical Care Research Centre, Cancer Care Services, MND and Perinatal Research Centre. Funding was also provided to run hospital programs such as the Milk Bank and Prevent Alcohol and Risk-related Trauma in Youth (P.A.R.T.Y.) program.
