Jodie and Jason's medical fund

Dear friends,
I know we all have been asked to support numerous causes lately when our work family has been challenged by devastating losses. I am so proud to know so many people that recognize how much a compassionate gesture can mean during a painful period in one’s life. One of our scrub techs, Jodie Hadden from Surgery Center( Dr Butler’s room) is going through a particularly difficult time. Her husband Jason was diagnosed with stage 4 lung cancer not too long ago and now it has spread throughout his body to the point that he will be receiving palliative care after discharge this week. They have 3 children, one of which had extensive medical issues of her own requiring travel to Boston for medical treatments and surgery just a few years ago. Jodie is now faced not only with the emotional trauma of supporting her family while her heart is breaking, but the very real financial burdens of being the sole provider while her husband is fighting the fight of his life. If anyone is compelled to contribute to help support a very sweet and hard working young lady, please join me in showing Jodie and Jason the love.
