Hello everyone

This is Christy Allen the sister of Jodi. As most of you know by now my beautiful sister has been diagnosed with Acute Leukemia this week. She went from last week at home not feeling well with sudden bruises appearing to a week later planning her next step to how fight this evil disease. To say this has been a shock is an understatement! No one is ever prepared for something like this.

So, as many would understand this type of thing doesn’t just hit you physically, mentally, and emotionally, but financially as well. Jodi is having to take a leave of absence as well as her husband Nick having to miss work due to being by her side. The parking, gas, food, other cost that are now adding up along with hospital bills that are accumulating that can be overwhelming demands that were not expected or prepared for as well.

So, my hope is that those that can and would like to help lighten the burden of these things for them would be greatly appreciated. I know when she did this for our family it came at a time that we too were blind sided by life at the unexpected loss of our daughter. If you can not give at this time what we would ask of you more than anything is for your prayers. This will take great faith and strength as we take this next journey we have been given.

Thank you again to all that are praying and have reached out. Your love has been so amazing and we feel it everyday. I will keep everyone updated on Facebook as her journey begins to defect this evil beast!! Just know God is in it and is doing something greater behind the scenes than we could ever imagine
