Jodee was recently diagnosed with a brain tumor, stage 4 glioblastoma, and she needs our help.

Jodee is a person who is always there when a friend or neighbor is in need. She has always opened her heart and home to save many furry and feathered friends.

She has spent the last several years taking care of her mother with Alzheimer who just recently passed, shortly followed by her cousin, her cat of 18 years, and her father in law. While grieving these tremendous losses Jodee started having a blind spot in one eye. She went to an eye doctor and he couldn't find the cause. Jodee only has catastrophic insurance and would rather spend her money on vet bills but knew something was seriously wrong. She had a CT scan done that showed a mass and within a few days she was having surgery to remove it.

Doctors believe they got 99% of the tumor but will still need aggressive chemo/radiation treatments, and possibly another surgery, even then the average survival is 18 to 24 months. Had the tumor not been found when it was, doctors said it would have killed her in 2 months. With the type of insurance Jodee has, she has already racked up $20,000 in deductibles, and will be dropped at the end of the year.
