We’re a women’s taiko drumming collective & invited to participate in the 46th Annual Powell Street Festival - one of the longest running community arts festivals & the largest Japanese festival in Canada.

Through direct support from the festival we covered all of our fuel and housing costs for the trip, but our van broke down along the way.

Total cost to repair parts and labor is $976.29 (alternator, battery, water pump, and serpentine).
