Dear friends,
We’re the grand children of Jock Campbell, and we have started a Go Fund Me campaign to help raise much needed funds for Jocks recently diagnosed cancer treatment. Jock has been diagnosed with stage 3 lung cancer (BRAF V600E Mutation) and he has chosen to begin cancer treatment using medications Binimetinib and Encorafenib.
The medications cost $8038 per month, capped at $40,190 over 5 months then it would be supplied at no cost by the drug company. We urgently need your help to raise $45,000 to cover the cost of the medication plus related medical bills and appointments.
We are calling on those who know Jock and his wife Gloria to help support them through this journey Jock is about to begin. He is well known in the local community. Jock became a life member of Cricket Albury-Wodonga in 2016 and has been involved in local cricket for over 40 years as a player, umpire, curator and has been a sitting member of the Cricket Albury Wodonga board. Most recently he has become a patron of the Cricket Albury-Wodonga Association.
Jock has been involved with Wodonga Raiders Cricket Club since the 1998, where he held positions on the committee as secretary and treasurer as well as curating the wicket at Birallee Park for over 10 years. He is also proud to be a life member of Wodonga Raiders Cricket Club.
Jock has also been a crucial member of the Albury/Wodonga Orchid Club for over 30 years, he and Gloria have been active participants of the board and Jock has been judging orchid shows in the Victoria region for many years. His knowledge has been invaluable to the community and fellow orchid growers.
If you have ever met Jock, you would know he is a humble gentleman and won’t ask for help, that’s why we – his grandkids are.
Jock’s eldest grandson will be receiving and managing funds on his behalf. Jock’s 3 children, 9 grandchildren and 9 great grandchildren, sincerely thank you if you can help Jock by donating to this Go Fund Me.
