Hi y’all! My name is Jocelyn and I will be starting Medical School in July 2022. I've dreamed of this moment for as long as I can remember, so it feels surreal to have my goal actualized. Everything from the past 7 years, even the barriers that felt insurmountable– has drawn me closer to this career goal. For those who have been with me during the struggle as a pre-med and have already invested in me through words of encouragement, prayer, or funds, thank you for sticking by me and pushing me to the finish line. For those who are new to my village of support, don’t worry! There’s still a lot of struggle to come (lol), and I appreciate your support in advance. Still, I am so excited to embark upon this new journey.
Now that the time is finally here, I need to prepare–mentally and physically, but most importantly financially. Turns out, from moving and furnishing an apartment, getting car maintenance work done, and buying the electronics, books, and other school necessities I need to thrive, medical school costs a very pretty penny. This is where my wonderful community of family and friends come in. I would really appreciate your support through this process, to alleviate some of the stress that comes with being in medical school, whether it's monetarily or through prayer.
