Jocelyn’s Car Accident

In Nov 2020 my Dad had a life threatening medical event.. Because of this we knew it would be urgent to buy me a car once I got my g2. My father and I saved up every penny we could to buy this car. In Nov 27, my SUV was hit at the back passenger side and was waiting for the claim to come to fruition.

Now the worst of news… On Sunday Dec 22nd, I had a collision that caused my vehicle to be a write off. My entire front end crushed. A lady merged between car going left and myself. Air bag deployed but I am physically alright some bruises but this was devastating to my mental health and confidence driving. I need some provate therapy to work through my trauma from the accident. Im so sad as I have worked so hard my entire adult life to achieve my G license. I do not have savings to get a new car. Vehicle prices have soared and with high rent, personal debts and my pets it will be almost impossible to afford a new car. I live 20km from my work place.

I’m hoping from the kindness of my community networks hearts even a $2 donation towards helping me get back on my feet would mean the world to me and my dad. This is the worst christmas/birthday event ive ever had. Any funds left over will be donated to a local charity for homeless youth in London Ontario.
