Jocelyn Needs a Working Wheelchair ASAP

Hi! I’m Jocelyn a physically disabled women with Cerebral Palsy. I majorly use an electric wheelchair for mobility assistance throughout my home, to work, and just to live my life in general. However, the Wheelchair that is currently covered by my insurance is in the process of getting fixed and while I waited for that I bought an electric wheelchair that I thought was gonna last me a while, but sadly it didn’t. The electric wheelchair that I bought recently is no longer working and although they have been incredibly helpful in trying to figure out how they could help me. I need a wheelchair as soon as possible because it has become increasingly difficult physically and mentally for me to get to work every day. While I can wait to get it fixed or get a replacement, it looks like it could take a couple days to a couple weeks and after some recent medical issues, I feel like my body is signaling me to figure out a better solution because getting around has been harder and harder every day with my manual chair. As a disabled person, I’ve grown to be very patient and resilient in finding different ways to figure out how I can get the necessary things I need to live life, but I am at a point where I’m exhausted and I’ve done everything that I could to figure out how to get the help that I need and while a lot of things are in motion behind the scenes I need a fast solution. That is why I am aiming to buy another electric wheelchair in the meantime while I get the other fixed so that I can get to work and not exhaust my body during the process. This was increasingly hard for me to do because I hate asking for help. It is my last resort. I’m not asking for much it is only to cover the Wheelchair and the shipment. if you would like to help or donate, I would really appreciate it. It means a lot!
