Help Support 17-month Old Dawson After Losing His Mother

Donation protected
Hello

A very dear friend of mine, Joe Spencer, suffered an unimaginable tragedy this week as his wife took her own life with a gun. If that wasn't horrible enough Joe and their 16-month-old son were in the home at the time and Joe had to witness the aftermath.

Joe is now left to raise his infant son on his own on top of the obvious sudden expenses of arranging for cremation/burial and services. I know he has to replace his bed and get new bedding for it. He may even want to get himself and his son out of the home they are renting to get away from the horrific memories and it may make it easier for Baby Dawson if he's not in the same home looking for his mama. I know Joe is working with a counselor discussing this (which is another expense for him) He will need assistance with childcare for his son when he returns to work as that was an expense he didn't have before this tragedy. Dawson's expenses will only continue to grow as he grows older and now being a single parent, he can certainly use all of our help.

Those who know Joe know that he gives to everyone and everything he can. From dressing up as Santa or The Grinch for events involving kids to being there for support and encouragement and picking you up when you are down. The man has not one but TWO days named for him in TWO different states. I mean, c'mon now.

Here is how Joe thinks--in speaking with him to check on him as he goes through this horrific ordeal--he was already talking about how he wants to become an advocate for mental health and drug addictions because of going through this situation--if we really come through for him, we may be able to help him launch something wonderful when he is on the other side of this. If there is something amazing to be created this man will do it.

Please help me in helping Joe and his son Dawson out. The last thing they should be worrying about right now is sorting out their finances to cover the massive, unexpected expenses and future expenses that weren't part of the plan and that now he must face alone. Let's let them focus on recovery and loving each other without the added stress. Every amount helps, large or small. Some of these expenses are needing to be dealt with now which is why I decided to step up and help.

I made Joe the beneficiary of this account--money is transferred into his bank account.

Not only can you help by donating but PLEASE share this on your social media channels as well. I really want to help Joe and Dawson get through this horrible tragedy.

Thank You!
