My son was finally beginning to feel like life was turning around. Over the past three years at Spirit Airlines, he worked hard to build stability and create a better future for himself. Then overnight, everything changed.

My name is Janice Quevedo, and I’m reaching out on behalf of my son, who was impacted by the sudden shutdown of Spirit Airlines.

For the first time in years, he finally felt hopeful. He was proud to be financially independent and finally feeling like all of his hard work was paying off.

Now, without warning, he is suddenly facing unemployment while still trying to manage everyday living expenses and college loans.

This is heartbreaking to watch him go through this after working so hard to finally get ahead.
