Job Loss Creates New Business Need

Well thanks to lots of family members and great friends I am happy to say that we now have our first truck!

Now to complete the process to get our own Authority.

Thanks to all of those who donated.

We are one big step closer to running under our own authority!!!!

As many of you know due to organizational restructuring, Bill's position was eliminated. We hope you will read this with an open mind and truly understand that any amount $5, $10, $15, $20, $25 etc...is not a slap in the face, but instead a great encouragement to us and others that read this plea. So, thank you in advance for any contribution!

On February 22nd, Bill was informed that his position was being eliminated effective Feb 2/29/24.

We recently moved to Vancouver, WA. This move was because of a job promotion. We bought a hard sought after 5.5 acres that we are not ready to give up on yet.

My plan is to buy a truck and be an Owner Operator. I have past experience in having a CDL and driving a truck, however I let my CDL lapse many years ago and now need to take the class all over again. I begin CDL classes Monday March 4th. After that I will directly take a job working for a trucking company until I have reached the financial means to purchase our first truck.

I am getting older and need to think about retirement to care for my wife and homestead (which we love).

I would also like to build a company that I can pass down to my children. I don't plan on doing this alone. I have friends/family in the trucking industry who I intend to ask to help, LOL (If you are reading this you know who you are).

I know being an owner operator is hard work, but I also know that my hard work has shown by the advancements I was able to achieve in the Telecommunication Industry, which speaks volumes of my hours of dedication to any work I do.

I and my wife are Christian and believe strongly that God is in control of our lives, and that nothing we experience is in vain, but to His Glory!

We ask that you will be a part of this new journey with us and be a part of the success in this new venture. The money will be used for an entry level used Semi truck.
