LIFE IS TAKING A REAL BITE RIGHT NOW

I usually choose silence—because what I don’t say can’t be judged. But life has a way of pushing us to our limits.

What many of you don’t know is that I lost my job in May. The official explanation? “No reason—just the direction the Board wants to move in.” That alone was hard to swallow. But just five days before that, my landlord informed me I had 60 days to move out. She’s planning to remodel the unit I live in—so she can double the rent to $3,200/month.

That’s just the beginning.

On top of losing my job and facing displacement, stress has taken a real toll on my health—physically and emotionally. I ended up in the hospital on July 17th. That was my wake-up call.

I've been searching for work, trying to stay afloat, and scrambling to find a new place to live. And while I’ve always prided myself on being strong and self-sufficient, the truth is: I need help.

This isn’t easy for me to say, and even harder to ask—but right now, this is my only option. I’m doing what I have to do to keep going, to get through this, and to get back on my feet. I’m not giving up. I just need a little support while I find my way out of this storm.
