Job Loss Hits Burns Family Hard

My husband and I both lost our long-term jobs around the same exact time a few months ago. We have both been applying daily to any and all positions on Indeed and other job-searching apps. We have either not heard back from any of these employers, called to reach out about our applications, or gone to interviews just to be turned down. It has been a long, hard, stressful road to get hired for any job with completely clean backgrounds for both of us, at that.

We have two young children together, Autumn, 10, and Logan, 7, that depend on us, and we are trying so hard to stay strong for them and to get ourselves out of this extremely tough situation. But nothing is going our way. We are trying to get by and figure out anything we can. We are behind on multiple bills: electric, rent, phones, you name it. The main one being our car payment. If we lose our only vehicle and mode of transportation, then we will not be able to commute back and forth to any job we do find and get hired for. Our family is struggling badly, and it breaks my heart to be in a position like this. We have never been so stuck and low before, let alone have to reach out this way for help. Unfortunately, we have no family or friends to turn to for financial help either.
