My name is Su:k Fulwilder, Sunday Oct 30th 2022 at 12:28 am my Son Joaquin Dam Kacim Ha:pul Suniga unfortunately passed away. We are told he ended his own life by a self inflicted gun shot wound. There is still an ongoing investigation we have not received details. We do know that Joaquin was struggling with many life hardships. He was going through alot and was affected deeply by the many losses, countless relatives and friends that he always offered to help bury. He was the oldest Son, the man of the house, as he would say. He felt obligated to take care of his siblings and myself his mother and many others. He didn't have to be asked if someone needed help he would be right there. He was always so giving and willing to listen to anyone, even strangers at times, who needed an ear. His loss has affected so many and we are sad to have to lay him to rest but he does deserve his rest as he has struggled far too long. We had hoped he would overcome the pain he felt internally. He started the process of seeing a therapist and had many goals. The main thing he wanted to do was help his community and his people and be an example. And he was. Even after his passing we beleive his story and memories will still make a difference somehow. We want to send him off in a good way and are seeking monetary assistance to help with funeral services and hospital bills as he did not have health insurance and the money would also help pay some bills for the household as we are taking time off from work and were struggling financially. We also would like to fly some of our relatives down from Seattle Washington for the services. He would want us all to remember him in a positive light. To not blame ourselves for not being able to prevent this tragedy. If you would and are able to make a donation it would help us in this time of grieving by having less to stress about. Thank you to all who have offered to help and are showing support, we couldn't handle this without you.. Words from his older sister Shady: My Brother JD is my Protector even though he was my little brother. Even though I was the older Sister it always felt like he was my older brother. I always cared about what he had to say and it meant a lot to me because any advice he gave anyone he meant it and it came from the heart. It hurts me to think I'll never see him again or hear his voice. He means the world to me. His smile would make you feel so loved and welcomed. He was a very good person. I remember him always giving money to people on the side of the road and wanting to help all the time. Me and him were thinking that we should have a fundraiser for the kids in the community and kids from the city because we know what it was like to struggle. We never got around to it. But one day this guy on the side of the road had all his belongings next to him in a cart and JD said hold on ima go give him some money, he hopped out of my car and ran to the guy. He handed him around $100. I'll never forget just how much he cared for others. Thank you for your help. Blessing to you all. The people that told him their life struggles and problems he wanted to help take that pain from you. I'm sorry to his friends that have to go through this with us.
