Help Heal a Farmer - JoAnn's Cancer Journey
Donation protected
My mother, JoAnn Tribby, is the embodiment of living in harmony with the natural world. Her fifty years of dedicated work to her 250-year-old farm in mid-coast Maine is love made visible. The beautiful integration of people, animals, plants, and earth has restored health and well-being to many friends and family who have spent time at the farm. Unfortunately, JoAnn is now in need of healing herself - she is in the middle of Pancreatic Cancer treatment. This new journey not only asks for every ounce of her energy, but it also asks for money.
JoAnn and her loving husband Ellis Percy have lived off the land by growing and preserving all of their own food. They possess an independent, do-it-yourself attitude toward all their endeavors. This has allowed them to live on a modest income in their retirement but the ever-growing expense they are now facing is beyond their resources. Our family is cohesive, and supportive and responds to all of JoAnn's needs as best we can, however; this financial burden is greater than our means. For this reason, we are asking for your help.
If you know JoAnn personally, you likely know of her deep understanding of hard work, strength, and beauty. Her tenacious spirit can now be seen through her dedication to self-care while traversing the brutal world of cancer treatment. She is determined to remain on the planet for a while longer and she is making excellent progress to do so. If you would like to participate in JoAnn’s healing journey please donate.
Thank you
