Welcome to my world!  Yes, that erector set that you see on my right leg is for real.  My fantastic surgeon, Dr. Alex Meininger constructed it late Sunday night following a bad ski accident I had a few hours before.

I have never done things halfway, and this, sadly, is no exception. My tibia is broken in two places and my ankle is broken as well.

I will have a second surgery this week and then will be home for the next 6-8 weeks which is why I’m creating this “GoFundMe” page.  I am facing real hardship because I will have to hire someone to run my property management business, "The House Nanny.” I am non weight bearing for 8 weeks and won’t be able to drive. That’s going to create a cash crunch. I also will need to hire someone to help support me at home and get me to physical therapy appointments, etc. While I have insurance, there are some medical expenses that are not reimbursed.

It makes me feel uncomfortable to ask for help, but, as people hear about what’s happened the next question is “What can I do?”
