Joanne Claypole

Sadly on the morning of 17th September 2023, Joanne Claypole passed away after a short illness. She was only 38 years old and is survived by her husband Steve and her 2 daughters, Freya and Poppy.

In memory of Jo, a kind a loving soul who left us all far too soon, we are coming together as a community to fulfil one of her most cherished dreams.

I asked Steve if there was absolutely anything we could do to honour Jo's memory. He told me that it was Jo's dream to one day take their children to Disney Land. She never got the chance during her time due to financial constraints and life's challenges making that dream seem completely out of reach.

"I am truly humbled by this. I never thought I'd be in this situation but never thought so many people cared about my Jo, my girls or even myself. It is a lovely gesture.

"Jo always wanted the girls to go to Disneyland and we never got the chance due to life or money. This is something I'd really like to do with them, to give them the memories Jo would have wanted them to have."

Your generous contributions will go directly to funding a magical trip to Disneyland for Freya and Poppy, a place where they can experience the wonder and joy that their mum wanted for them.
