Joanne & Alisha's Hurricane Relief

My name is Dave Seeram and I live in Maryland. I am raising funds for my sister in law and her daughter (my wife's sister and niece) to help with hurricane relief efforts. The funds raised will be used by them to rebuild their lives as they lost everything due to Hurricane Irma hitting the island of Tortola. Specifically, the funds will be used to secure a new place to live and for everyday purchases of household items including clothes, furniture and food. Because Tortola is outside of the US, I plan on withdrawing the funds to my personal account and then wiring the funds to their personal bank account in Tortola.

Hurricane Irma hit the island of Tortala BVI destroying homes, cars, and businesses.  The island is now without power and running water.  My wife's sister and her daughter have built a life in Tortola centered around the tourism industry.  They lost everything in the hurricane including their house, car and business.  

The purpose of this Go Fund Me is to try to raise funds for them to use to get back on their feet as the island works to rebuild.  For this family, lost income will have a huge impact in the upcoming weeks since their business was destroyed and the tourists who they depend on to support their business is no longer on the island.   We are asking for any donation that you can afford to give.  We do realize that there are a lot of hurricane victims in need of help at the moment.  This is just one case of a family that is near and dear to my heart and I'm trying to do everything I can to help.  Thank you for your donation.  We are praying for all of the hurricane victims.
