With a heavy heart, we share that our beloved Joanna Peña has passed away. She was a devoted mother, daughter, sister, loving partner, cousin, nurse and cat mom.

It is heartbreaking to create this post about someone who was a LIGHT on earth.

Joanna was 37 years young. Beautiful inside and out. Her loving and caring nature, ability to light up a room with her warmth, is what we will miss most. She was smart, kind, fun, and full of love. Always willing to go above and beyond for others whether you were a person or a pet (her favorite). Her sensitivity allowed her to have a special bond with animals. If you know Joanna, you know she had the most perfect smile and hair!

We are reaching out to the community for help in raising $25,000 to cover the unexpected cost involved in her send off.
