We want everyone to know that we have launched this page to help alleviate some unexpected financial pressures that Joanna and her family expect to face.
Recently, Joanna suddenly felt a few lumps in her neck. The same day, she went to one of our urgent care clinics, and her blood work was sent out for testing. She received a call just a few hours later that she must go to the ER where she was admitted immediately. Unfortunately, she was diagnosed with Acute Myeloid Leukemia (AML).
As many of you know, Joanna had recently returned to work after giving birth to her son, Leo, the love of her and her husband's life. Joanna is in the hospital and has started chemotherapy treatments.
We hope this GoFundMe effort will help them cover various unexpected costs including medical expenses and childcare, to help them focus on her health and recovery.
