Hello my name is Bruce Sheridan.  This request is urgent.  I am going to cut to the point.  A wonderful woman I know, Joanna Clark, was told yesterday, Nov 19th, she has 6 months to live.   I live in St Louis and she lives in Charlotte NC.  Our sons played soccer together for years.  Coordinating practices, watching games, traveling to tournaments all contributed to the terrific bond we formed.  In December 2018, Joanna felt a severe pain in her back.  In January 2019, she found out she had Stage 2 Pancreatic Cancer.  March was surgery, March thru September was Chemo and Sept and Oct  Radiation.   

Yesterday, Nov 19, 2020, she was released from the hospital after a 10 day stay.   She begged the doctor to tell  her how long she had because she has 4 amazing children who adore her and she wanted to know and be prepared.  Reluctantly, he told her, "You have months."  When Joanna pressed, he said 6 months.  


I can't explain it, but we usually communicate through Facebook.  Something inside me shifted to FB Message and I asked her how she was doing.  Joanna said not so good.  We went back and forth and I found out she only has 6 months.  I'm not sure I should have asked, but I asked, "How will you face this?"

Her reply, "I don't know, I just found out."

We messaged some more and I asked her if she could do one thing, what would it be?  Her response, "I would like to spend 10 days with my children at a beach."  I found a house in Destin, FL that we can rent on Airbnb from Dec 11 - 20, 2020.  So if you can help, please do so as soon as possible.  

I need your help to make this happen.   Will you please help?  I estimate that if we can raise $7,500.00  Joanna can fulfill her dream and not have to worry about how to pay for it.   I know she does not have the funds.   I will start the process by giving $500.00.  Please give as much or as little as your heart is leading you to contribute.   THANK YOU!!!!
