At only a couple of months old my sister Joann was diagnosed with something called tuberous sclerosis, which is a rare genetic disease that causes non-cancerous (benign) tumors to grow in the brain and several areas of the body, including the spinal cord, nerves, eyes, lung, heart, kidneys, and skin. It has also caused severe seizures her whole life and left her with the mentality of a child. After 49 years of fighting and defying all the odds my beautiful sister unexpectedly out of the blue just stopped breathing. Emergency workers performed CPR for 14 minutes and were able to start her breathing back up but unfortunately her brain went without oxygen for way too long. She is now in the ICU on life support and we were told to start making funeral arrangements. Anything anyone can do to help me give my sister a proper funeral and my mother some piece of mind would be greatly appreciated. Thank you
