Hi, my name is Kirsten, and I'm fundraising on behalf of the Byrne family to assist with funeral costs for JoAnn Byrne.

JoAnn passed peacefully on July 12, 2022, in Safety Harbor, Florida, after battling a long illness. JoAnn was a beautiful soul who connected with many people in her lifetime. Her light will continue to shine for many years through the memories of those who knew her.

JoAnn's final wish was to be reunited with her father, Joseph McCarthy, who is interred in Abington Cemetery in Drexel Hill, Pennsylvania. While figuring out the logistics of honoring JoAnn's final request, her family has learned about the exceptional costs of this undertaking.

While it is uncomfortable to ask for help, her family knows that there are many in JoAnn's life who would like the opportunity to help her get to her final resting place. It is for this reason that her family requests donations be made to this fundraiser in lieu of flowers or gifts.
